We were two adults & two 12 yo boys and stayed here for six nights. The place was simply amazing! The water view from the balcony was stunning. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious with lots of storage space. The living room had a nice sized couch to relax. The kitchen was well equipped. The beach umbrella and chairs were nice bonuses for beach days! The complex itself was beautiful and well maintained. It was not too big and had a private and authentic feel to it. The outside pool and the hot tub were very pleasant as well. The location was great for beaches and dining. Here are some recommendations: Beaches - Kiahuna for swimming and boogie boarding, Poipu for snorkeling, Shipwreck for viewing sunset from the top of the cliff. Dining - many options at The Shops at Kukui’ula (walkable) and Koloa Village (7 mins drive) Grocery - Living Foods is closer but pricy. Big Save in Koloa has much better prices. All in all, we had a lovely stay at Whalers Cove. Highly recommend!
