Amazing location; quiet neighborhood, large area to play for kiddos and the breeze in the house was amazing! Didn’t have to turn in AC at all! Definitely recommend this rental!

Great stay. We had some issues with the stove/washer on our final days but they had someone out and fixed within hours. Very responsive and thorough host. Enjoyed the area, walkable to restaurants and market. Great backyard and spa. Plenty of room. Would stay again.

We would 100 stay here again, and plan to very soon!

The backyard was so beautiful, we grounded and stretched out there every morning! The furniture was nice and comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the indoor/outdoor aspect of the lanai and primary bedroom/bathroom.

Well equipped throughout the house and the beach accessories were so convenient for enjoying the days at the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. All instructions were timely and precise. May 03, 2024 Mala Hale was absolutely perfect!! Yen was super easy to communicate with and really friendly. We felt really at home, with everything being sparkling clean, working, and simply beautiful. The AC units worked great and kept us cool while we slept. The jacuzzi was hot and clean. We loved reading and doing puzzles in the screened in lanai with our morning coffee. Usually we stay with friends or family while we’re on island but we brought people this time so we needed a place and it was honestly so lovely that we’ll probably book again even if it’s just two of us! Everything we needed was stocked including goggles, towels, a cooler etc. We loved riding the bikes through the beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Jun 05, 2024 Amazing Stay The house was spacious with an open floor plan and well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and cooking utensils. The beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom was huge with a couch and master bath. The partially outdoor shower was very cool with great pressure. The hot tub and enclosed garden of the shower was beautiful and private. The backyard garden was a private beautiful oasis. there was 4 bikes, snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and coolers for a great day at the beach. There is SO MUCH to do on the North Shore. we had the best time. I would stay here again when we make it back. Thank you for an amazing time based on our fantastic adventure. Michelle Jersett

Sep 20, 2024 We enjoyed our stay! We love Princeville and Hanalei and have been staying in Princeville for a few decades for vacations. We have rented many homed and condos. We are currently looking to retire to Princeville. The house is quite nice and is as shown in the pictures and descriptions. The backyard is a gorgeous Japanese garden. Master bedroom is enormous with a large walk in closet. Nice tradewinds keeps things cool at night and if needed there is AC that we only used the first day until we figured out to open the sliding doors with screens to let in the cool evening air. The home is in good shape but not fully remodeled in terms of bathrooms and kitchen but was fine for us. Master Bedroom is open thru shower to screened roof and wood walled private area with hot tub and mossy garden. We would have liked it to be closed off as a few critters made it to the shower area (small frog. gecko) A roach visitor was often seen at night on the hot tub cover. Erica Diebold
Jul 24, 2024 This is a great space in excellent location in Princeville on the north shore. Easy walk to the park, farmers markets, super market, wine store etc. The house is comfortable, organized and has a very well stocked kitchen which was great. The master is really a really big bedroom with sofa bed which was great for our set up. Also lots of beach equipment and anything else you would need to enjoy Kauai. The back yard was nice but has a lot of standing water pots and the mosquitoes come out as the sun goes down so bring some repellent. Daniel Pilsworth

Jul 04, 2024 Good location-spacious home, fabulous Beach Gear-we loved having the beach cruisers! Also a couple different sized coolers were available for use. The hot tub was lovely. Aug 11, 2025 loved our stay here. This was a super comfortable stay. We were constantly on the go to see Kauai, and the rental was a great place to return. We did do some meals here, there is plenty of cookware and a grocery (and great wine shop) that is walkable. It's in a development, there are some cool hikes and amazing vistas nearby. Hanalei is great but can get crowded, here a bit less so. Lots of good food trucks not too far of a drive. Overall, loved our stay here. Michael H

Oct 01, 2025 We will stay there again! We had an incredible time and loved having a hot tub at the house. We also enjoyed riding bikes with four right on-site to the Princeville Center which is so close. Great food, shopping, and shaved ice all at that center. The kitchen has everything you need with great morning light and the home is spacious. Each room has comfortable beds and air for those warmer days. The grounds are stunning and the backyard is a dream! We will stay there again! Jason N
