It wasn’t perfect, but pretty close to it. Beautiful property, probably best suited for a vacation of up to four couples, or families with older children. The toddler in our group kept us on our toes due to the layout of pool and other water features. Kitchen was well stocked with great appliances, cookware, etc. Beds were extremely comfortable, clean and comfy furniture, lovely outdoor seating and dining area. Warm salt water swimming pool and spa were heavenly! Irene, our property manager did a fabulous job! Not so great aspects: the house is, as stated, 300 yards above the Westin Hapuna Hotel, which means part of your view is the back of the hotel. There were a couple of leaks (ceiling and kitchen sink), a too cool hot tub, and a broken wine refrigerator, all of which were quickly addressed by the property manager. The louvered doors in the bedrooms need a good dusting, otherwise everything was very clean. I highly recommend hiring the private chef, who cooked for us twice and left abundant, delicious leftovers. After our daughter’s wedding on the beach, Rowland cooked a fabulous celebration dinner. I also recommend Babiesnbeaches for anyone with children. Mahalo to everyone who helped us create a magical week.

Wonderful Week
We spent a wonderful week at The Beach house with our children & grandkids. The place is incredible - amazing architecture, decor & WOW views from every angle. Time went just too fast.

Incredible Home!
Aloha, As if Hawaii weren't beautiful enough on its own, our stay in your incredible home was memorable. My family found their personal spaces abundant in size & amenities. The lanai provided sunsets that were priceless. The pool was refreshing & felt as if we were swimming in our own private lagoon. A Note on Resort Enhancements
The final phase of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel renovation began in February 2025 and is scheduled for completion later this year. The Mauna Kea Golf Course has reopened following major upgrades to its fairways, greens, and bunkers.
