Very comfortable unit for our family of 6. Excellent location close to beaches, quiet community, well maintained grounds. Kitchen fully stocked to do some meals in. First floor lanai was great and unit even has beach toys chairs and umbrellas which was great. Minor wear and tear such as master BR door sticking but to be expected in a STR. Would definitely stay again!

This is great home in a beautiful location. The pool, jacuzzi, and beach are right there. Close to everything in the Poipu and Koloa area. The host was very communicative and helpful.

We had a great stay! We had 5 people and felt like there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had lots of appliances and condiments. Right next to the pool and just a quick walk to the beach. We had a relaxing stay!

Description

Sunny south Kauai beckons from this gorgeous three-bedroom, three-bath Villas at Poipu Kai condo, where modern amenities meet a sense of old Hawaii. Elegant décor, garden views, central air, high-speed wireless internet, and smart flat-screen televisions provide a beautiful, comfortable setting for your Hawaiian getaway.

The primary bedroom at Unit B111 features a four-poster bed, direct access to a lanai, and a luxurious en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and dual vanities. A fully appointed kitchen with fine finishes offers bar seating, with a more formal dining area for six just beyond. Nearly an entire wall of the living room opens to a spacious covered lanai with open-air dining and space to recline and relax.

The Villas at Poipu Kai also boast a peaceful pool with plenty of places to lounge, as well as a community hot tub, a well-equipped fitness center, and barbecue grills. Manicured grounds with waterfalls, fountains, and palm trees envelop you in a tropical paradise.

With Poipu, Brennecke’s, and Shipwreck beaches each a short stroll away, guests can take advantage of Unit B111 ’s beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, sand toys, and boogie boards. Brennecke's Deli and Brennecke's Beach Broiler serve lunch and dinner nearby, and a five-minute drive leads to Poipu Shopping Village and The Shops at Kukuiula, both of which have an assortment of dining and shopping possibilities. Another five-minute drive brings guests to Old Koloa Town, where historic plantation buildings have been carefully renovated to create a charming village with additional restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store. Guests can reach Waimea Canyon in an hour and the lush north shore in 90 minutes, with many natural wonders to discover in between.

Aug 04, 2022 Relaxation in Poipu Our family really enjoyed our stay here. This well appointed spacious condo easily accommodated our family. The location was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. May 03, 2024 Our stay at Poipu Kai was excellent. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids between the three bedrooms with two master suites and and three full bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked and the lanai area was great and private. The location is perfect - good walking distance from local beaches and trails. The pool area is great, right outside the room. The check in was very smooth and easy with a code on the door. There was even a wagon filled with beach gear that was included to use. Overall, awesome experience! Would definitely use again! May 03, 2024 We always stay in the Poipu area and prefer the south side. This property was large enough for our family and very comfortable. We loved the welcome basket of goodie’s and the other amenities. If there was one complaint, or suggestion I would recommend that the dryer be serviced as it takes an extra long time to dry if at all. The dry may have a clogged exhaust hose. john dempsey

May 03, 2024 I loved this unit’s location within the complex. It is right beside the pool and parking which made carrying items like groceries to the condo very convenient. Also the easy pool access made it easy to take a child back and forth to use the washroom etc without having to pack everything up again. It was great! I would definitely stay again. Danielle Slavin
May 03, 2024 We loved this ground level Kauai condo. The entire home was clean and comfortable, the lanai was lovely and our kids would have stayed at the pool all day. We had everything we needed to spend 8 days in Kauai, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and umbrellas, comfy furniture and beds and some welcome puzzles and books for the few rainy days. The walk to the beach was easy (and gorgeous). Close proximity to all Poipu has to offer. Would certainly stay again! Amanda & Casey O'Neill

Nov 17, 2024 Wonderful well furnished condo. Ground floor location made for easy walk in access. Loved the patio doors that opened completely to bring the outdoors in. Very comfortable beds in all bedrooms, with lots of pillows! Kitchen well supplied with tools and appliances. Lei Tocman

Jan 11, 2025 We stayed here for 2 weeks during Christmas and NYE with family and friends. It was nice to have 2 master suites. The condo is right by the pool/hot tub but the lanai still offers plenty of privacy because of the nice landscaping and waterfall. We appreciated the fact that the condo was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, Malie (local brand that I love and it smells incredible) soap, shampoo and conditioner, wagon, 6 beach chairs, a small cooler, umbrellas. We did end up buying two boogie boards from Wal-Mart to use at the Brenneckes. It was nice to have a hot tub by the pool. You don’t see many hot tubs in Kauai. The location is great with easy access to the walking path at Poipu Kai and the beach is only a 5-minute. The only thing we didn’t love was the fitness center on site. It doesn’t have much in terms of equipment. It would be way better if there was a mirror and more free weights. We have stayed at other condos in Poipu, which have included access to the Poipu Athletic Club that is has ample equipment and pickleball and tennis courts. That’s a very nice perk offered by other management companies. Parking was easy and convenient. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including rice cooker, coffee grinder, etc. We had an issue with the WiFi on the main TV, and upon request the manager provided a Roku that solved the issue. So nice! We would stay here again for sure but would prefer a penthouse that offers an ocean view. danica tormohlen
