Really Nice Property

Pool is great, the beach at the property is wonderful. A car is a good idea for being over here as there isn’t much in walking distance. Unit was clean and well appointed with beach chairs and kitchen items.

Mar 20, 2024 The location and quality of the property is as advertised. The location is waterfront but the suite is not waterfront. We found a couple of things lacking for the kitchen. The room is bright and the patio is pleasant to sit. The location is quiet and only steps to the pool and beach and a short walk along the beach path to Whaler's Village. We did the walk most mornings which is a pleasant stroll. Good Beach and water conditions making this a useable beach. The owners are very considerate and were easy to communicate with. May 03, 2024 This West Maui condo was the perfect location for our vacation! The property sits right on a gorgeous beach, yet you also have access to a lovely pool with a bar next door. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities for cooking and food storage. It also had some beach chairs, which we used a lot over the week. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had and even let us check in early, which was so helpful! We loved our stay, would absolutely recommend! Jen Mayekawa

Especially the communication with the host gather vacation was very good and the provided service of the maui kaanapali villas hotel (which we were allowed to use at some point (for example the pool / the presentation about the island activities at the hotel lobby)). May 03, 2024 Beautiful little spot on the west side with plenty of nice amenities and easy beach access. We personally enjoyed the balcony and wood features inside the room. The dishware was a little dirty upon arrival but otherwise the place was clean and neat. Would recommend! Mahalo! Ali Bryant
May 03, 2024 A medium grade motel feel. Carpet stains, gross baseboards, gross sink faucet, super wobbly toilet. The bathroom door won’t lock. Dusty air ducts. Gross dishwasher. The pillows on the main bed are awful. Even my 7 and 9yo’s found them unbearable. $400 resort fee surprise after spending $1k on fees on my invoice. The unit said it has washer and dryer. It’s actually a community pay for laundry room. $2.50 wash, $2.50 dry. Provided 2rolls of single ply TP. 4 of us 15 days stay and ran out. We’re told we had to buy our own. No cleaning spray. BBQ area is next to a smoking section facing landscaping garages. Pools mediocre. Pros: quiet. Friendly staff. Parking was easy. The gym was surprisingly equipped and felt clean. Great beach access and a rental hut right there to rent kayaks and things. Jolie Faulkner

The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, a relaxing beachfront location, and incredible ocean views. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved the convenience of having the beach just steps away, as well as the on-site pool and dining options. The location is ideal for exploring nearby Lahaina and Kaanapali attractions, yet it still felt peaceful and private. This was the perfect spot for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. I can’t recommend Maui Kaanapali Villas enough and would absolutely stay here again! James Bautista

Property management proactively engaged us with instructions and insight about the visit and responded quickly to any questions. It made for a great vacation. Mark Peltz
Feb 24, 2025 Overall our experience with this Maui property was good. The property was quiet and peaceful. It definitely felt like a slower resort as compared to the other fast paced ones near whalers village. The negative was the pool temperature. It was extremely warm which was great at night, but was not comfortable during the day. If you are looking for a lowkey place for you and your family this is a nice place to stay. We liked having a full size fridge and a kitchen. The free parking was great. And the beach was beautiful. The cafe on site was a little overpriced and not very good compared to the other places we tried in Kaanapali. I recommend stocking up at Costco and using the nice grill setup and kitchen they have. Jul 10, 2025 The reason I say this is, the gave us the wrong apartment first night. They only realised when I said I couldnt get the washing machine to work. So then we had to up and move to correct apartment, at 8.30 in the morning. They did compensate us for the inconvenience with food vouchers, to spend at the cafe. We did use them, but found one waitress had tried to tip herself 45.00 on three drinks. When I quizz her on the charge...she was quiet rude. She eventually came back to our table and processed to take the money...from her wallet...like she had already pocketed it. I had given her a 5.0 tip for a 25.00 Bill total but she had put down 45.00..so I handed over 60.00.but still expected some change back...she was wasnt happy handing the change back....but after waiting 35min for my change I was in no mood to be messed with either. It was the last day so it spoilt the holiday for me. I can say the apartment was lovely, clean but hotel service was pretty average. And foreigners be aware of fast waitresses that think they can fool you. SUE RADNEDGE

The surroundings are beautiful, with a great beach just a short walk away. The location is very convenient — easy access to transportation, shops, cafés, and restaurants. Dec 12, 2025 We were very pleased This is for unit B225 at MKV in Maui. We were very pleased with this quiet unit on the second floor (no elevator) - we like to snorkel and determined this location was an easy walk to Kahekili public beach with great snorkeling. We did that every morning and had a great time. Returning for lunch on the balcony. Parking was very easy and we used the free Kaanapali Trolley a few times as it passes by every half hour. Charles, the Gather host allowed us to check in early and was very helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen has everything you need. The closet was full of beach supplies including beach chairs so no need to rent them. Alan Carmer
