Turtle bay condo

Clean and quiet property, on the golf course. Interior decor is bland, quite disappointing

It is true that this place could use a facelift but the apt was spacious and had tons of counter/table space which is often more essential than aesthetics while traveling. It had plenty of towels and two foldable beach chairs. What was also nice about this space were the two bathrooms and the amazing water pressure and shower heads! Exactly what you need after a long day at the beach and/or hiking! I only came with my partner so having our own bathrooms was a real perk, but if you are traveling with two kids, I am sure this would be much more helpful. Condiments (salt, pepper, oil), a full size mirror, and some canvas bags would have been helpful. If we decided to stay on the North Shore again, we would definitely stay here again. This was a well functioning space and we enjoyed it very much.

May 03, 2024 Beautiful condo overlooking a non operating golf course which made it great by providing additional privacy to sit in the balcony and not worry about a golf ball headed your way. Walkable distance to turtle bay resort with awesome beaches, restaurants and snorkeling opportunities. Loved long walks to Keiki Beach and Kahuku Beach. Overall loved staying in the rustic not at all crowded north coast, enjoyed watching sunset every evening at sunset beach park. Would love to retire in this area some day Srini Srinivasan

May 03, 2024 We stayed for 4 days on the North Shore, and the unit was nice and convenient. It was great being so close to Turtle Bay Resort and also in between Laie and Haleiwa. The bed was comfortable and the linens were lovely. Nice having two bathrooms too. The pool was nice and quiet. Overall, a very relaxing stay on the beautiful North Shore. Laine Seaton

Apr 05, 2024 We loved this place! It’s in great location- you can dine/walk among Turtle Bay, enjoying the crowds, or enjoy quiet in the condo. Close to Kahuku, which is fun too. Condo is not fancy, but perfect -great layout, nice, new, plentiful towels, bedding, and kitchen has everything you’d ever need on vacation. Nice, responsive mgt team as well. Would def recommend! Very relaxing atmosphere -- golf course pro shop across the street. Great restaurants and entertainment. Feb 14, 2024 This was the perfect spot for us - we loved the experience of staying in North Shore, convenience of being close to the Turtle Bay amenities, and opportunity to save money on a few meals by having a full kitchen. This may be a one-bedroom, but it was very spacious and the two full baths were really nice to have. The owners thought of everything - plenty of bath towels, everything from dish soap to shower gel, and even beach towels. We were really comfortable here, thank you so much! Bessie DeFreitas

Jan 31, 2024 Beautiful surroundings, very close to beaches and North Shore attractions. Car is needed unless you are happy waiting on the bus - but it is available! Very clean. amazing kitchen that is very well supplied. We didn't have to run out for anything but food. TV in living room was rather small and hard to watch, but the bigger one in the bedroom was great. Joyful kids living next door, but they were quiet at night when it mattered! May 03, 2024 The Kuilima Estate rentals are the best way to enjoy Turtle Bay. Overall a fine condo in Kuilima Estates East. Other condos there are more updated, this one is quite outdated with original appliances and interior. AC is original and does not cool the condo in summer, but AC is not really needed when trade winds are blowing. The listing title describes a "mountain view" which is inaccurate, it really has a beautiful view of the golf course, coastal trees and can watch the helicopters coming and going. This is accurately described in the details but the title should be corrected. Condo was clearly cleaned after previous guest. But showed dust and gecko droppings upon arrival, probably due to a long vacancy. Not a big deal, just had to do a little cleaning for our toddler to be on the floor. This is the closest building to the resort which makes a very short walk to Lei Lei's restaurant and easy walk to all beaches/trails. Daniel Enriquez

May 03, 2024 We used this condo as a honeymoon spot. I wanted my wife to live the North Shore life while visiting Oahu. It was peaceful and we enjoyed having access to the beach at Turtle Bay. I was shocked coming back to the island and seeing how much the water has risen over the years. Best to come and see Hawaii before all the beaches are gone. Joevis Sumpter
