Amazing

Amazing Hualalai vacation home, this place lived up to every expectation you could have. Amazing view of the ocean and golf course, beautiful home inside and out, we loved our stay. We have stayed at a few different homes throughout the Hualalai property and this one is at the top of the list. Perfect all around, you won't be disappointed!

What a lovely home! We are grateful that the owners have chosen to make it available for tenants. The location is exceptional, near the resort, with an ocean view and a nice degree of separation from the golf course due to the small lava rock field. Though we didn’t use the beach gear or the board games, it’s nice that they were available. Having 2 golf carts is also very convenient. My feedback is minor. We used the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks, and while it seemed well equipped overall, I would suggest the following: a better quality drip coffee maker (doesn’t need to be fancy but Mr. Coffee isn’t very good), more plastic bag clips for chips (I found only 1), and silicone tipped cooking tongs (I found only a long metal pair probably intended for barbecuing). Also, the toaster oven might need to be replaced: it took a really long time to toast bread, and it didn’t seem like the heating element was getting red hot as it should. The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job; the house was very clean. One very small note: there was no dishwashing soap in the dispenser so I used the large refill bottle I found under the sink. Staff communication was overall very good. You may want to highlight the pool maintenance schedule in the welcoming text. It may have been in the book and we didn’t notice it. It wasn’t a problem, but we were up and sitting on the primary bedroom lanai when the pool guy came. The house was nicely furnished and very comfortable for our 4-person group. It’s such a lovely backyard with a gorgeous pool, and perhaps could be improved with additional chaise lounges. The grocery shopper did a great job!
