Cozy cottage

I'm a San Diego native & was pleasantly surprised with this rental since moving out of state. The location was a DREAM! Perfect distance to downtown or North County. Walking distance (literally a stone's throw) from a really great coffee shop overlooking Torrey Pines Preserve, mini-market, Mexican, Italian and a few more as well as beach and trail walking access. Would definitely stay here again. Fully stocked cottage with anything you'd need for your getaway!! Only 10 mins from downtown Del Mar and the dog beach which was also a huge plus with my 2 dogs.

Perfect studio for a couple staying for a few days. Great locations to a strip of restaurants, close to del mar. Not far from La Jolla or central San Diego. Just as listed. Backyard area is a great bonus.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your cute cottage! It was great being able to walk across the street to coffee every morning. The beach is close by and I walked there with my dog every day. Groceries, restaurants and trails are super close by and I was able to get them easily. Parking was a breeze. It was a really quiet location and had cute decor too! Loved the outdoor private patio. Thank you for a great stay!

This property is intended for use by responsible adults and their families. There is a zero tolerance policy for parties, excessive noise and events. This home is equipped with noise monitoring systems and the noise ordinance will be strictly enforced.

No outside noise after 10pm, otherwise the police will be called and the violation will result in immediate eviction and $1,000.00 fine.

Pets discouraged. If approved, limit 1 small dog per group. Pet Fee: $100. Guests must disclose their dog(s) information and get approval. Failure to notify us may result in additional charges.

If you are permitted to bring a dog, please do not leave them unattended at the house. Make sure to pick up after your pet. No barking tolerated by neighboring apartments.

Great neighborhood, walking distance to everything, great local restaurants and coffee shops just down the street, quaint and well maintained fairytale yard with BBQ, firepit and peaceful sitting area. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable, the linens are high quality and the amenities are hotel grade. Small kitchen but worked perfectly for us. Within walking distance from excellent restaurants and the beach! We walked to the beach every day. There are excellent hiking trails with ocean vista views in the preserve across the street. The backyard is as pictured and we enjoyed a glass of wine nightly by the gas pit. Parking is on street but we never had a problem finding a space right in front. We spent most mornings sipping coffee in the garden and most afternoon reading there as well; nice shady spot. The location was great for us. We hiked at Torrey Pines each day and then grabbed a meal down the street. Didn’t drive much. Hope to come back soon. Paula Tye
Sep 08, 2024 This is a private studio sharing walls with nobody, nestled in a fenced yard blocks from the slough and a bit of a walk from one of the most beautiful San Diego beaches. The bed was comfy, so was the couch the size of a twin bed. The fridge is tiny as it fits under the counter, but all necessary kitchen items are available. The bathroom would be tricky for extra long-legged or large people as the front of the toilet squeezes up against the shower. Perfect choice for one to three people, peaceful and a great value for the location! Tasha Wilson

Am Abreisetag war der Türcode leider schon vor 10 Uhr deaktiviert, so dass wir uns ausgeschlossen haben und die Koffer noch drin waren. We had a small issue, where we did not have the heater in the correct mode when we first arrived, but that was quickly resolved The price was a bit of a stretch for our budget, but we felt it was worth it to be near Torrey Pines. Nov 02, 2023 I was hesitant to book since there weren’t too many reviews of this property but I’m glad I went with it. The perfect sized space for what we needed on our trip. Very good location to all surrounding areas and very walkable to the coffee, pizza, and burrito spot right down the road. The place was spotless and everything was extremely comfortable. Definitely the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will absolutely book it again when I come back in to town in the future Tim Johnson

Jul 27, 2025 Everything else was perfect and wonderful! The location was perfect, the area was quiet and secluded. It was an easy walk to the beach and a few good restaurants and there is a grocery store in quick driving distance. The place was very clean and easy to figure out anything we needed. The outside patio was a lovely touch and very private. We got lots of messages and knew there would be no problem if we needed to reach out to anyone. We had a lovely welcome basket of food and wine. The only thing that we didn’t love was the skylight, we love to sleep in total darkness and we’re hoping to be able to sleep in after our exhausting wedding weekend but there is no way we could find to keep the room dark so it is light when the sun comes up. Totally fine if you are getting up early anyway! But just something we noticed. Also, the people living in the attached house doing laundry is able to be heard through the wall so I was woken up by the hearing a dryer spin clothes at a very early hour. Stephanie B

Aug 29, 2025 Our stay here was comfortable and ideal for what we needed. It was nice to have an outdoor area to sit. We could walk easily to a coffee shop and restaurant and parking by the studio was great. We liked the kitchen set up and being able to store golf clubs in the shared garage was so helpful.
