Gorgeous!

What a find! The cottage is totally secluded yet within a few steps of the wetlands and a quick walk to the beach/cute restaurants. Gorgeous! You’ll find all the amenities and the outdoor patio with fire pit was a terrific place to hang out with coffee first thing in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Gather and the owner were instantly responsive and provided helpful information. Great place, perfect location!

My wife and I had a great stay. The location was great within walking distance of Torrey Pines State Park and the beach. We enjoyed being tucked away in a very nice neighborhood. We had great dinners in Del Mar and Encinitas. It was very convenient to my son’s soccer tournament location. Thank you for hosting.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your cute cottage! It was great being able to walk across the street to coffee every morning. The beach is close by and I walked there with my dog every day. Groceries, restaurants and trails are super close by and I was able to get them easily. Parking was a breeze. It was a really quiet location and had cute decor too! Loved the outdoor private patio. Thank you for a great stay!

This property is intended for use by responsible adults and their families. There is a zero tolerance policy for parties, excessive noise and events. This home is equipped with noise monitoring systems and the noise ordinance will be strictly enforced.

No outside noise after 10pm, otherwise the police will be called and the violation will result in immediate eviction and $1,000.00 fine.

Pets discouraged. If approved, limit 1 small dog per group. Pet Fee: $100. Guests must disclose their dog(s) information and get approval. Failure to notify us may result in additional charges.

If you are permitted to bring a dog, please do not leave them unattended at the house. Make sure to pick up after your pet. No barking tolerated by neighboring apartments.

Apr 12, 2024 Cozy cottage I'm a San Diego native & was pleasantly surprised with this rental since moving out of state. The location was a DREAM! Perfect distance to downtown or North County. Walking distance (literally a stone's throw) from a really great coffee shop overlooking Torrey Pines Preserve, mini-market, Mexican, Italian and a few more as well as beach and trail walking access. Would definitely stay here again. Fully stocked cottage with anything you'd need for your getaway!! Only 10 mins from downtown Del Mar and the dog beach which was also a huge plus with my 2 dogs. Great neighborhood, walking distance to everything, great local restaurants and coffee shops just down the street, quaint and well maintained fairytale yard with BBQ, firepit and peaceful sitting area. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable, the linens are high quality and the amenities are hotel grade. Small kitchen but worked perfectly for us. May 03, 2024 This property was adorable! Good quality sheets, towels, dishes, glasses. The outdoor space was intimate and beautiful with flowers and comfy chairs. Within walking distance from excellent restaurants and the beach! We walked to the beach every day. There are excellent hiking trails with ocean vista views in the preserve across the street. The backyard is as pictured and we enjoyed a glass of wine nightly by the gas pit. Parking is on street but we never had a problem finding a space right in front. Hosts were timely and we got frequent text updates. Would stay again! Also at last minute we brought our small dog and it was perfect for her too! Kimberly Kent

We spent most mornings sipping coffee in the garden and most afternoon reading there as well; nice shady spot. The location was great for us. We hiked at Torrey Pines each day and then grabbed a meal down the street. Didn’t drive much. Hope to come back soon. Paula Tye
Sep 08, 2024 This is a private studio sharing walls with nobody, nestled in a fenced yard blocks from the slough and a bit of a walk from one of the most beautiful San Diego beaches. The bed was comfy, so was the couch the size of a twin bed. The fridge is tiny as it fits under the counter, but all necessary kitchen items are available. The bathroom would be tricky for extra long-legged or large people as the front of the toilet squeezes up against the shower. Perfect choice for one to three people, peaceful and a great value for the location! Tasha Wilson

Am Abreisetag war der Türcode leider schon vor 10 Uhr deaktiviert, so dass wir uns ausgeschlossen haben und die Koffer noch drin waren. We had a small issue, where we did not have the heater in the correct mode when we first arrived, but that was quickly resolved The price was a bit of a stretch for our budget, but we felt it was worth it to be near Torrey Pines. Nov 02, 2023 I was hesitant to book since there weren’t too many reviews of this property but I’m glad I went with it. The perfect sized space for what we needed on our trip. Very good location to all surrounding areas and very walkable to the coffee, pizza, and burrito spot right down the road. The place was spotless and everything was extremely comfortable. Definitely the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will absolutely book it again when I come back in to town in the future Tim Johnson

Everything is compact but for two people (and our two small dogs), it was very comfortable. The yard was spacious, and the kitchen had every necessity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amanda Hunt
Dec 28, 2024 The studio cottage is very conveniently located walking distance to Torrey Pines State Beach, bars, cafes, restaurants etc. The courtyard garden is very peaceful and quiet and the unit was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bed was great, and the shower had good pressure. There is a skylight in the ceiling which allows gradual illumination as the sun rises. Communication with the property manager was great and issues were resolved quickly. The only downside as others have mentioned is that the fridge is an under-counter bar fridge - so need to buy smaller size perishables to fit in. Kitchen has a stove/oven as well as microwave which allows a variety of cooking options. I stayed for 2 weeks as a solo traveler in December 2024 and hope to return in summer to enjoy the beach/lagoon more than was possible during my "work trip". Neville Willsmore

This private attached studio is located in a quiet neighborhood, away from super touristy areas, but with easy access to Del Mar, Torrey Points State Beach, Solana Beach, and the greater San Diego area by car. A couple of drawbacks were: 1) Directions for using tv remote were insufficient. 2) I feel management company should check propane tank. We couldn't get the fire pit to work! The tv remote's instructions did not explain how to return from app use to live tv! Overall pleased! Karl Baysinger
