This is an incredible vacation rental. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The home was perfectly clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The location is amazing and convenient to everything the north shore offers. The views out the back can’t be beat. We were seeing whales within minutes of arriving. Thank you for a great home and vacation experience.

We stayed at Honu Away with a group of friends and had an absolutely amazing time. The property is just as advertised - very clean, spacious, and bright with exquisite views. Yen was extremely helpful and met our friends and was very responsive to any of our questions/requests. We would absolutely return to this delightful turtle cove!

This was absolutely the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in my life! The view was incredible! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Falling asleep and waking up to the ocean sounds was mesmerizing. Each morning, we’d have coffee and watch for whales. We were blessed to see some almost every morning. The kitchen was spectacular and contained pretty much anything needed. The beds were quite comfortable and the linens quite cozy. The place was very clean and well maintained. The host was very helpful with any questions. We didn’t want to leave. Personally, I’d come back and stay for the rest of my life if it weren’t for this thing called reality.

Aug 09, 2022 April 2022 stay We are a family of 6. The property is spacious, well decorated and appointed. It is well stocked. The kitchen has high end appliances and was a pleasure to prepare our meals there. The views are amazing. It is a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Many nice shops and restaurants within a 5 minutes drive. We paid the daily fee to have the pool heated. It wasn’t working and on the 3rd full day of our stay the pool man came by and fixed it. Thereafter we enjoyed the pool immensely. My family enjoyed our time in Kauai and the property was certainly a factor. Teizu W

May 03, 2024 This house is unbelievably awesome. We spent a week here and were so sad to leave. The views and location were as good as anywhere on the planet. The house is very nice, high quality everything. Cannot say enough things about this. I would not go to Kauai again and stay anywhere except here. Wes Cox

Yen and whole property management team were wonderful to work with. They were incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. They truly made our arrival, stay, and departure so effortless and went above and beyond to assist with anything they could. I cannot recommend this home enough, we already cannot wait to return! The place was exceptionally clean, and we appreciated the attention to detail that was evident throughout our stay. From the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds, every aspect of the property was carefully thought out and provided us with everything we needed and more. The location was simply breathtaking, boasting a panoramic view that was nothing short of spectacular. We spent hours taking in the scenery and never tired of the stunning vista surrounding us. It was at an additional cost, but the heated pool was another standout feature. The warm water was a welcome respite from the cooler and rainy days. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance to Foodland grocery store, shops and restaurants (about a 25 minute walk or short drive). We hiked down to the beach via a trail in the neighborhood and we had the beach to ourselves. Yen was a wonderful host and was very helpful and communicative. We appreciated all the small details - they really thought of everything. Highly recommend this home and I hope to return in the future! Maggie Johnson

Easy and accommodating check in/check out and the manager was always available for any needs and great recommendations. Can comfortably fit four couples/families. Was amazing to have the view of the ocean from the deck as well as from many of the bedrooms for days we felt like being “lazy” but still wanted to feel like we were at the beach. The kitchen is well equipped for anything you would need to cook. Comfortable and spacious living/dining area and plenty of games/books to keep everyone busy. Dec 04, 2024 Stunning view and nice big house! Bugs everywhere during our stay which is just not fun. I stayed at another Airbnb in Hawái same week and didn’t have this problem while this host said it was the season for it. Also you have to pay additional fee to heat pool and it never gets very warm. A/C broken in one main room so we couldn’t use that part of house to sleep in they got it fixed while we were there but I don’t wanna deal with maintenance on my vacation. Still a nice place but not worth this exorbitant fee if they can’t get the bugs under control and have it feel more luxurious. Molly B

Aug 07, 2025 Hope to come again! This house is as pretty in person as in the pictures. The views are amazing and 3 of the 4 rooms have amazing ocean views and you can listen to the waves at night. Yen the local property manager is also amazing. She was super responsive and made a special trip to the house to help us one night. Highly recommend this property for an amazing time in Princeville! Jan 21, 2026 This place is wonderful. Beautiful modern home, quiet end of cul-de-sac, and SPECTACULAR views of the ocean/waves. Every room has great ocean views. Back patio is a great place to sit and enjoy the ocean. Yen was an exceptional host. She met us when we arrived, and walked the home with us, explaining amenities, and as well sent us several restaurant options. And she followed up with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure all was well. Cannot say enough about how well she took care of us. Highly recommend this home as the destination in Princeville! Karl Blanchard
