Stayed here with my family of nine and everyone absolutely loved it! Great kitchen for gathering and making meals, spent mornings, afternoons and nights on the lanai and in the pool, game room was a hit and lots of beach supplies for outings. House was super clean, rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better home to stay in Hawaii. We are already talking about booking again for next year!

Our family of eight recently stayed at this beautiful home in Hawaii, and it exceeded all our expectations. The house was even nicer than the pictures online, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The highlight for our three kids was the pool. They spent hours each day splashing around, giving us some relaxation time. The pool area was private and well-maintained, providing a perfect oasis. Another fantastic feature was the game room in the garage. We loved using it in the evenings, and it added extra fun to our stay. The location was ideal—quiet and private, yet close to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our Hawaiian vacation. This home provided everything we needed and more. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and family-friendly retreat in Hawaii.

Our Ohana of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids) loved the house. The game room was fantastic. We all so appreciated the beach chairs and all the towels. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Welcome to Ohana Le'ale'a by Gather, a newly built luxury 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, perfect for your next family getaway. Step inside this spacious and well-equipped vacation rental and discover all the amenities it has to offer. As you enter, you'll be greeted by the open floor plan with 12-14ft vaulted ceilings, a modern updated design, and beautiful hardwood floors with natural travertine stone throughout the home. The Hawaiian native wood trim accents add a touch of elegance to this already stunning property.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped with integrated chef-style appliances and ample counter space. The kitchen island with bar seating is adjacent to a dining table that comfortably seats 8, making it the perfect spot for group dinners. The living room features three couches centered around a large LED TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the island. Enjoy the fantastic ocean views from the living room and the covered lanai and sundeck. The lanai is the perfect spot for watching the seasonal whales, swimming in the lap pool, and relaxing in the spa.

The spacious and comfortable bedrooms are perfect for accommodating your family's needs. The Primary Bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, direct access to the lanai, and an en suite bath with a soaking tub, two walk-in showers, a vanity, and dual walk-in closets. The sofa in the Primary Bedroom can also be converted into an extra bed. The second primary bedroom is located across the house from the kitchen, providing maximum privacy. This bedroom features a king bed, and a large en suite with a walk-in shower, and is located nearby the detached game room, perfect for a late-night game of pool. The third bedroom is a perfect spot for families traveling with little ones. This room features a queen bed, 2 twin beds, a small office nook, and a large en suite with a walk-in shower. There's a cozy bonus sleeping room with tropical decor and soft linens for flexibility and additional sleeping options.

The 3-car garage has been transformed into a Game Room, complete with a full-sized bar and large LED TV. Play a game of ping pong or pool after a long day of traveling, or watch the big game on the TV.

Ohana Le'ale'a is conveniently located by the Keauhou Shopping Plaza and is only 2 miles from the famous Ali'I Dr, offering unbeatable dining and shopping experiences. White Sands Beach in La'aloa Beach County Park is a must-see while visiting Kona. May 03, 2024 We spend a wonderful two weeks with our family at this property. The location is very nice and private. The property was clean and well stocked for any type of cooking that you would like to do. Our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub, where you had the ability to control the temperature (which we loved!). The house is decorated very tastefully and there was plenty of room for us and our three daughters to have room to play together or have some privacy to ourselves. There were lots of games and pool toys, etc. at the house so we did not even really need all the other extra toys we brought. We would absolutely recommend this place! Christopher DeLise
May 03, 2024 We enjoyed our stay at this home in Kona. While we thought the home had 3 bedrooms, it actually had 4. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The lanai was perfect with a pool and ocean view. Being able to open the door wall to bring the outside in was ideal. Even if you were inside in the great room, you felt part of the outside. We stayed for the Ironman race, and it was pretty easy to get to/from town (15-20 minutes). There was a shuttle at the nearby shopping center that athletes and spectators could take to town to avoid parking. We felt close to the action, but far enough away to also enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked with needed equipment for making our own meals. There was nothing lacking. We would certainly stay again should the opportunity allow. Jennifer Charters
Feb 21, 2024 My family and I were there to celebrate my 60th and our retirement, and had the best trip of our lives in Feb 2024. A big part of that was the property we rented for our stay. We have booked vacation rentals for our trips to Florida and Hawaii multiple times. We have used VRBO for most of these bookings and have always been pleased with our choices, but this one was easily the best. The directions provided for check in were easy to follow. The house is located in a gated community. Getting in and out of the neighborhood was easy. The house is beautiful and well maintained. Jun 21, 2024 Ohana Le'ale'a provided a fun, comfortable and memorable vacay for our family. Its convenient yet quiet location was a good jump off point for beaches, snorkeling, exploring and dining out. Was surprised at the enthusiasm of the grands for the game room. A few more coffee mugs would be nice, but for that view and that home it’s a minor detail. Mahalo for making us feel at home on Hawaii Island! Libby Kelly

Oct 07, 2023 Amazing place - the house is even bigger and better in person! There was more than enough room for all of us. The fully retractable sliding door and windows in the back of the house were incredible, especially at sunset. That view! Wow!! The location is perfect - close to Kona, groceries, beaches, restaurants - but quieter. The pool and spa were a huge hit with our kids, as were the games in the garage. Sep 21, 2023 Pros: The property was fresh and immaculately clean. The furnishings were nice. It had every amenity you would ever need. The outside areas including the lanai, pool and hot tub were awsome and we used them every day!. The views were great and the sunsets spectacular. Cons: One room's tv never worked even thouh they came out to fix it. The temperature of the house was hard to regulate . Some areas were too cool and others, too hot. Street noise from the main road was pretty noticable in the bedrooms at bedtime and in the mornings. Lastly, if you are a beach person, the nicest beaches are 30-45 minutes away. Robin Polokoff

Dec 02, 2024 Beautiful comfortable home. We appreciated the water & coffee upon arrival. Directions for the home were clear. Beds were comfortable. Security was great. The home was clean with two minor exceptions, some dead bugs in a couple of rooms & some of the towels had a sour smell. My wife and I, son and daughter in law as well as 4 grandchildren from the ages of 10 to 16 were very comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean sunsets. The game room was a good gathering place during down times and the pool and hot tube were kept busy. I would recommend this place to any group and would stay again if it was available. Dale Schultz
Feb 15, 2025 Ohana le'ale'a A lovely and comfortable 10 days here for our Ohana, including young children. The home is even more spacious than pictured, with large private rooms and comfy beds. It’s well situated to head north or south and feels super safe and private in a quiet, gated community. We could have easily spent a month here and would definitely return. Sarah Gray
