A Serene Escape in a Breathtaking Beachside Community

Our family found a slice of paradise at Golf Estate 3 at OneOcean in Mauna Lani, nestled in a private community just moments from the ocean. The house was a dream, offering luxurious bedrooms and a fire pit on the primary bedroom's lanai. Every detail, from the gourmet-ready kitchen to the outdoor furniture and BBQ grill, was designed for maximum comfort and enjoyment. The local area enhanced our stay with its quaint shops and restaurants. We came with our full family and kids - and there was plenty to do in the community with the beautiful grotto, kids pools, gym, and entertainment room. Plus, you're just a stone's throw away from the Auberge, Mauna Lani golf course and even a mini golf and movie theater. This beautiful retreat exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return.

It is a very nice house with great view and location, we were really enjoy the staying. It is a good property specially for the groups or families who like to play golf. Owner of the house is very thoughtful to have a lots of kitchen wares for us to use. Only need some small improves because any how, we were the second group to stay at this house after new construction completed.

Five Star Luxury With A Cozy Home Feel

Our stay at the 6BD Mauna Lani Lux Golf Estate (3) at One Ocean was truly memorable. The home itself is an architectural masterpiece and offered the ideal, comfortable setting for our family of five. Each ensuite bedroom was spacious and beautifully finished, and the seamless indoor–outdoor flow made us feel instantly at home. We used the chef’s kitchen daily—cooking together became one of our favorite parts of the trip—and we especially enjoyed the outdoor grill and entertainment systems that made both days and evenings relaxing and fun. The design manages to be both modern and welcoming, with floor-to-ceiling glass capturing incredible sunset views of the ocean and mountains over lush fairways. The infinity-edge pool was a highlight, creating the feeling of floating right into the horizon. We also loved having easy access to nearby shops, beautiful beaches, and scenic trails—spotting wild goats along the way was such a charming surprise. The One Ocean amenities, including the gym, overlook pools, and hot tubs, added even more enjoyment to our stay. And the six-seater golf cart was an unexpected luxury that made exploring the Mauna Lani Resort effortless and fun. We do want to mention two aspects we wish had been disclosed before booking. First, there is active construction very close by (just one home over), and the daytime noise from drilling and hammering occasionally took away from the peaceful outdoor experience we had hoped for. Thankfully, the noise stopped in the evenings. Second, while the finished home next door was empty for most of our stay, once guests arrived we experienced the uncomfortable fact that their upstairs balcony has a direct line of sight into the master bathroom sinks and bathtub area—especially noticeable at night when the bathroom lights are on. Given the high-end nature of this property, an electronic switchable privacy glass feature would be a thoughtful addition and improvement, as the existing partial floral film doesn’t fully block the view inside. Despite these concerns, the stay was still exceptional. Thoughtful touches like beach gear, high-speed Wi-Fi, and lovely Malie toiletries made everything feel effortless. Gather Vacations was outstanding from start to finish—the on-island team was warm, responsive, and attentive, and the welcome basket filled with delicious local treats was such a generous way to begin our trip. We’re grateful for the care they put into our stay, and we will absolutely book with Gather again for future vacations.

Dec 10, 2025 Overall, we had a great stay! The Mauna Lani resort area is beautiful and it was so much fun exploring it with the ease of the provided golf cart. This was our third time back in the area and the first time we stayed in the One Ocean subdivision. The grounds and property itself were both wonderful. The home has so many amenities and is well-appointed. The only challenge we really encountered was with the property management/concierge service as response times were not always timely and we even had one request go unacknowledged for the duration of our stay.
