Amazing and beautiful vacation!

Sep 24, 2024 Lovely unit My family stayed here as an extension to our vacation. We liked this unit more than the one we rented prior in the same resort. The layout is perfect, the unit was clean, comfortable, and was equipped with everything you need. The view is great for the price, I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony with the ocean & the mountains while my family snoozed away. The only issue we had was the first night, we went to close the lanai doors and one of the handles snapped off. We hadn’t had any issues with the doors in the previous unit, so I believe the handle was just worn. We let the property manager know and it was fixed the next day while we were out enjoying the day. Sep 24, 2024 Perfect Rental for a Family! I am originally from Maui and looked for a rental that I could bring my family back for a vacation. The unit had everything that we could have wanted, and then some! This rental exceeded our expectations! What really made this unit stand out was all the little details. Upon arrival, the unit was cooled, cleaned and had a nice welcome gift. It included a pack & play and high chair for the little one, sand toys, coolers, plastic cups for the beach/pool, well stocked kitchen and bath supplies (soaps, trash bags, detergents, etc.), beach chairs and umbrellas, a Keurig AND coffee maker, and all the necessary kitchen utensils. From a location standpoint, it was close to trash/recycling, close to the stairs for easy access to the garage, close to the elevator to get down to the beach and pool and the lanai had a view of both the mountains and ocean. The Hawaii Life staff was also great! They provided clear information regarding the unit and the check-in and check-out process. During our stay they were available to answer any questions we had. We did have broken umbrellas in our unit, and they staff had them replaced within hours! We definitely would recommend this property to friends & family and will surely be back! Marc R.
Sep 24, 2024 Immaculate! Great stay! Family of 4 (myself, 3 kids ages 12-16) stayed here and wished we never had to leave. As a VRBO owner myself, I notice everything, and this unit was immaculate! It was well stocked with everything we needed and even had brand-new appliances. The owners were communicative and quick to respond. The resort itself was well maintained and had several pools appropriate for all different ages. The older kids liked to walk around and head to the food trucks nearby for "snacks" and to the pizza place just across the road. We enjoyed so many adventures-too many to list (paragliding, snuba, surf lessons, cliff jumping, black rock beach). We can't wait to come back. What a great find! KRISTEN M.

Sep 24, 2024 Highly Recommend Honua Kai Hokulani 214! We LOVED our stay at the Honua Kai Hokulani 214. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved having the small kitchen to make some meals, the washer and dryer for doing laundry, and the beach chairs and umbrella for us to use. We loved sitting out on the patio each morning to enjoy our coffee/breakfast with the beautiful view of the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. The property manager provided great customer service and responded quickly to any questions we had, including making accommodations to move the cleaning schedule to allow for us to have a later checkout. We loved all of the pools, the workout facility, and having the beautiful beach so close for swimming and snorkeling. We enjoyed eating at Duke's a couple of times, which is right on the property. Sep 24, 2024 Comfortable condo with a peak-a-boo view This is our second time to the resort and did not disappoint. This condo was perfect for our family of 3. We weren't sure about the privacy with it facing the Westin, but it's actually perfectly located in that it looks at the elevators so there is not someone on the balcony across. It has a basic set of kitchen pots/pans etc enough to cook a few meals there if desired. The team was extremely responsive and we appreciated the 11 am checkout and minimal checklist allowing us to stay in the vaca mode as long as possible. Monique K.

We were able to view both the beach and the ocean while enjoying our morning coffee and our meals. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen provided all the utensils we needed for preparing our meals. The layout of the apartment was great for entertaining and relaxing. The pools and patios of Honua Kai were easily accessed and fun for both adults and kids. the beach and boardwalk were outstanding for walking, swimming, and whale watching.We only stayed for a week and would have been very happy to stay much longer. Sep 24, 2024 The Best Anniversary and Birthday spent! It was the best placed we had stayed at Maui. Hokulani was gave us the most relaxing place. Everything you need is there. To the point that my husband made a reservation to a restaurant for my bday but instead I told him to cancel it instead we have a nice dinner at condo. It was so nice like we were in a high in restaurant. We open the sliding doors and it was quiet. Anyway when I said everything is there washer and dryer. Nice stove to cook your meal, washing machine and 2 coffee maker. If you want to go to the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag they have it there for you. The sheets and the bed was so relaxing for you to end your day. All of the staffs are very nice and pleasant. Definitely we will come back to this condo and we would really recommend it to our friends. Best place for you and your family. With 4 pools and hot tub and the beach access is just couple steps away from your tower. Duke’s just there for your quick snack or nice meal. Thilda P.

Sep 24, 2024 Beautiful place and perfectly located This is a beautiful condo and we loved being right by dukes. In fact, when you order food or drinks at the pool it comes from dukes. There are several pools and hot tubs. We loved that they had a beach bag, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. I believe there was some kids beach toys as well. You will love this place! Trevor H.

Megan responded quickly when I text her with questions. Property was beautiful, easily walkable to beach or other areas near hotel for dining & walking boardwalk in the morning or evenings. Easy 5-10 minute drive if going farther down beach or to Whalers. Beach accessories & chairs were great to have in room. Only addition would be to have some type of baking dishes/muffin pans to use in the oven as the only thing in the condo are fry pans.. Overall, amazing stay and would absolutely stay again. Lisa M.

Sep 24, 2024 Home for a Week We had such a great time! Overall, we made lots of memories and having a beautiful, clean place to call home for the week with all the conveniences of home made our stay that much better and easier! The washer/dryer was VERY handy. There was some construction on the next lot over, but my little boys thought it was great to see all the dump trucks. In fact, every morning my husband would slide open the doors/wall to the lanai and my boys would watch the trucks and eat breakfast. The noise wasn't bothersome to us at all since we weren't in the room much except for meals and sleeping. My kids and my husband and I loved the pools! The boys went down the water slide more times than I could count! We took advantage of Dukes for dinner one night and we also used the barbeques by the pool. We loved how close we were to both pools and ocean. We brought snorkel gear and we all were amazed that we could go right out the back of the condo and snorkel. We saw sea urchins, eels, and lots of colorful fish (bring surf booties). The beach chairs and umbrella were nice to have too. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we took advantage of the photo session and free 8x10 (Melissa took our photos and she was great with my boys). Megan and Jeremy were also great to work with. They answered all my questions and treated us like family. In the welcome folder they had a list of their favorite things on the island and we took advantage of many of their personal recommendations. The location is also great! It's about 10 minutes from Lahaina. It was close enough to make it easy to see the Banyan tree, and eat at restaurants on Front St, but also far enough away where we didn't feel like we were with everyone in Maui. I felt very safe walking around the lobby and outside areas by myself and with my young children. There were LOTS of families and it was wonderful seeing folks spending time with one another. Sep 24, 2024 Great Family Vacation This unit was perfect for us. It has a good sized kitchen and laundry which were useful when travelling with a 1.5 year old. The bed, linens, and bathroom were also very nice. Only negative would be the construction outside the lanai which you probably know about when booking. We found the lanai not very useful because of the noise and dirt. Overall a great experience. It was like staying in a 4 star hotel with all the amenities of your own condo. Sep 24, 2024 Fabulous Vacation Rental This was our second vacation stay at the Honua Kai and we would consider this unit to have been the best of the 2 by far. The price was considerably better than the previous rental which to us, was important because that allowed us to enjoy more activities and meals at Duke's! Check in was seamless and we enjoyed having the valet parking for those days when you are really exhausted from hanging out in the sun. This rental had all the important extras such as the Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, cooler, etc. I was worried about not having the ocean/pool view but I actually enjoyed this view just as much as the greenery was beautiful and it was incredibly peaceful. The only thing missing were the chair cushions for the balcony. It would be nice if they were replaced as it would make the deck chairs more comfortable. There was construction going on for the 3rd phase of Honua Kai but it didn't affect our stay in any way, whatsoever. Thank you to Megan for keeping in touch whenever we had a question before and after our visit. We will definitely book with Hawaii Life again! Terris F.

Sep 24, 2024 Beautiful vacation rental in a gorgeous location! We just returned from a wonderful 9-night stay in 'Kamalu'. We have stayed in numerous hotel and condo rentals during our many years of visiting Maui, but have returned to Honua Kai every trip for the last five years. The property location is absolutely ideal, offering close proximity to the bustling Lahaina area and the main Ka'anapali Beach resort and shopping area, but still feeling a little more secluded and 'away from it all'. Unit 214 itself was clean and very well appointed with beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, and all sorts of fun beach gear. There was a wonderful, full spice rack, coffee maker and some extra condiments in the fridge. We were a little concerned at just how close we would be to the Westin Nanea building, but the pictures actually make it appear closer than it was. Even better, the unit does not directly face any of the Nanea rooms, so you do not feel like you are staring at your neighbors while sitting on the lanai (which I did every morning while my husband checked his work e-mails). Megan was wonderful to work with and was even able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which was greatly appreciated since we were lucky enough to catch a non-stop flight and arrive on the island about 11am. The on-site restaurant, Duke's, is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just be sure to make reservations for dinner as they book up really quickly and no one wants to wait an hour for dinner. ;0) We had a wonderful trip and are already planning our next visit. The owners are wonderful and communication from the beginning to the end was awesome. The condo is equipped with everything you need including beach chairs,beach bag, beach towels and even a FUN boogie Board! The resort property is beautiful, well kept and the people were so kind. The property is centrally located and easily accessible to the beach and other activities. The property is also very kid friendly and the 3 pools are amazing! Sep 24, 2024 Clean, Updated, great location! This rental unit was clean, updated, in an awesome location for snorkeling off the beach, and equipped with everything you might need for a good vacation. We did lack access to the balcony due to painting on the first day but it was resolved quickly and I believe we were refunded some due to this. The floors might have needed a mop due to the workers as well but absolutely situational. We loved cooking at home but there was a great restaurant on the property. The Hawaii Life staff was also great! They provided clear information regarding the unit and the check-in and check-out process. During our stay they were available to answer any questions we had. It was well stocked with everything we needed and even had brand-new appliances. The owners were communicative and quick to respond. The resort itself was well maintained and had several pools appropriate for all different ages. The older kids liked to walk around and head to the food trucks nearby for "snacks" and to the pizza place just across the road. Jan 14, 2024 Amazing Condo, great for a Family Vacation! This rental was just what we needed to feel like we were on vacation, it’s so nice to come to a nice clean rental and feel comfortable. The check in process was very easy and the communication from the Hawaii Life team was amazing, even after hours as well. This rental even had pack n plays for our young children, plastic kid dishes and utensils, and a high chair. This was a very comfortable place for our family, enough room to spread out. The resort was really nice too, 3 different pool areas, right next to the beach, and easy paths for walks with the young kids. We will definitely remember this rental for our next visit. p m.

We loved all of the pools, the workout facility, and having the beautiful beach so close for swimming and snorkeling. We enjoyed eating at Duke's a couple of times, which is right on the property. Nice stove to cook your meal, washing machine and 2 coffee maker. If you want to go to the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag they have it there for you. The sheets and the bed was so relaxing for you to end your day. All of the staffs are very nice and pleasant. Definitely we will come back to this condo and we would really recommend it to our friends. Best place for you and your family. Megan responded quickly when I text her with questions. Property was beautiful, easily walkable to beach or other areas near hotel for dining & walking boardwalk in the morning or evenings. Easy 5-10 minute drive if going farther down beach or to Whalers. Beach accessories & chairs were great to have in room. May 23, 2022 Beautiful Condo/Great Resort Spacious and beautifully decorated condo. Great pools and beach area. Scuba equipment available for rental- members of our group loved the proximity to a beautiful reef from the resort. The only drawback we experienced was the situation with parking. We discovered that the garage under the building our where our condo was located fills up at night, and we were unable to find convenient parking after leaving the resort for dinner on two occasions. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort on a beautiful island! Debbie B.

Overall, we made lots of memories and having a beautiful, clean place to call home for the week with all the conveniences of home made our stay that much better and easier! The washer/dryer was VERY handy. There was some construction on the next lot over, but my little boys thought it was great to see all the dump trucks. In fact, every morning my husband would slide open the doors/wall to the lanai and my boys would watch the trucks and eat breakfast. The noise wasn't bothersome to us at all since we weren't in the room much except for meals and sleeping. My kids and my husband and I loved the pools! The boys went down the water slide more times than I could count! We took advantage of Dukes for dinner one night and we also used the barbeques by the pool. We loved how close we were to both pools and ocean. We brought snorkel gear and we all were amazed that we could go right out the back of the condo and snorkel. We saw sea urchins, eels, and lots of colorful fish (bring surf booties). The beach chairs and umbrella were nice to have too. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we took advantage of the photo session and free 8x10 (Melissa took our photos and she was great with my boys). Megan and Jeremy were also great to work with. They answered all my questions and treated us like family. In the welcome folder they had a list of their favorite things on the island and we took advantage of many of their personal recommendations. The location is also great! It's about 10 minutes from Lahaina. It was close enough to make it easy to see the Banyan tree, and eat at restaurants on Front St, but also far enough away where we didn't feel like we were with everyone in Maui. I felt very safe walking around the lobby and outside areas by myself and with my young children. There were LOTS of families and it was wonderful seeing folks spending time with one another. We will recommend this place to our friends and family. M. S.

Reviewer Comments: This was our second vacation stay at the Honua Kai and we would consider this unit to have been the best of the 2 by far. The price was considerably better than the previous rental which to us, was important because that allowed us to enjoy more activities and meals at Duke's! Check in was seamless and we enjoyed having the valet parking for those days when you are really exhausted from hanging out in the sun. This rental had all the important extras such as the Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, cooler, etc. I was worried about not having the ocean/pool view but I actually enjoyed this view just as much as the greenery was beautiful and it was incredibly peaceful. The only thing missing were the chair cushions for the balcony. It would be nice if they were replaced as it would make the deck chairs more comfortable. There was construction going on for the 3rd phase of Honua Kai but it didn't affect our stay in any way, whatsoever. We have stayed in numerous hotel and condo rentals during our many years of visiting Maui, but have returned to Honua Kai every trip for the last five years. The property location is absolutely ideal, offering close proximity to the bustling Lahaina area and the main Ka'anapali Beach resort and shopping area, but still feeling a little more secluded and 'away from it all'. Unit 214 itself was clean and very well appointed with beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, and all sorts of fun beach gear. There was a wonderful, full spice rack, coffee maker and some extra condiments in the fridge. We were a little concerned at just how close we would be to the Westin Nanea building, but the pictures actually make it appear closer than it was. Even better, the unit does not directly face any of the Nanea rooms, so you do not feel like you are staring at your neighbors while sitting on the lanai (which I did every morning while my husband checked his work e-mails). Megan was wonderful to work with and was even able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which was greatly appreciated since we were lucky enough to catch a non-stop flight and arrive on the island about 11am. The on-site restaurant, Duke's, is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just be sure to make reservations for dinner as they book up really quickly and no one wants to wait an hour for dinner. ;0) We had a wonderful trip and are already planning our next visit. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this unit 3 years ago and were very happy with everything so we booked the same unit again for our return. The booking process was easy, but unlike the prior stay communication was terrible. We received multiple emails from different sources and which was confusing and difficult to receive any responses to emails to our property managers. The check in instructions are confusing and outdated, which also was frustrating. Upon arrival we were not able to connect to the wifi, which was an issue because we had remote work and school. After multiple unansered texts and voicemails over 3 days we finally got a response to try and connect to a different router, which only worked for one of our laptops and only while sitting in a specfiic location in the unit, which was not very useful. The unit itself was exactly the same as our prior stay, which is fine but the furniture is now a bit run down now and could use some updating. Overall though it was a good trip, the resort itself is beautiful and amazing, and we would stay at Honua Kai again in an instant. However, we will not be staying in this unit again. Matt R.

Nov 04, 2021 Love Honua Kai Between the two of us, we've stayed at Honua Kai six times. We love the location, the parking is ample, easy to get in and out of, people are friendly, etc. The pool area is great and with a toddler who loves the water was a perfect fit! This unit was fine but it was several small things that overall dampened the experience a bit. Not being a part of the pool towel program meant using towels for both the beach and pool. And having to constantly get the sand out before entering the building, washing and drying, and having to remember to bring them down for the pool. There was also a lack of dishes and cups in the kitchen. Four Bowls total meant lots of hand washing and dishwashing. No wine glasses at all. Thankfully the management company got a delivery of them so we didn't have to drink out of coffee mugs. Definitely appreciated it! There is no peekaboo view of the water on the lanai. The plumeria blocks any view. Maybe when it was trimmed down or a younger plant it made for a view. Not a huge deal but when it's prominently advertised it's a little disappointing. The mountain view was beautiful, and some mornings with clouds coming in it was majestic. Really were appreciative of the high chair but wish we would have gotten replies to our original emails asking questions so we knew there was a pack N play. Love Honua Kai! Kenneth B.

There were 4 different emails on check in instructions and no clarity on which to respond to. Also there are two different property managers and it’s not clear who you are getting notes from. Also they did not respond to questions on VRBO or through email. Also they say check out is 11 but the cleaning staff repeatedly tried to get me to leave starting at 10am despite indicating prior to my arrival I would not check out until 11. Steven B.
Oct 02, 2021 Best place we’ve ever stayed I can’t begin to explain how wonderful our stay was! From play pens to basic house necessities, they had it all covered! We traveled with a 14 month old and this condo helped facilitate that! Rooms were spacious, bathrooms were amazing and the lanai was incredible!! We enjoyed cooking almost every meal in the wonderful kitchen! Plus the laundry room was a huge bonus! I can’t wait to return and rent from them again! Bailey D.

Jul 10, 2021 We love Honua Kai We love Honua Kai and have stayed here many times. This unit is definitely one of the more basic finishes. They provide beach towels, chairs, umbrella etc which all made our stay much more fun! They lack in extra bedding especially because the entire unit is tile, we had one little on sleeping on the floor and next to us in the bedroom and didn't have much to make a bed with. It also lacks in dishes, only 3 bowls for the whole unit. These things are all part of the VRBO experience where you aren't quite sure what you are getting and these changes would have made our stay more comfortable but not change it. The one change that I would recommend would be having all the info in the binder at the property. Our phones weren't working well and we couldn't open the link for info on our property due to bad service. It would have been helpful to have a physical copy of all information at the unit that includes internet passwords etc. Overall it is a great unit and anybody would really enjoy staying here! Dave P.

The beach in front of the property is great for sunset walks. However, the rocks and coral limit it for boogie boogie boarding or other ocean activity. We found many beaches up and down the coast that met our needs. The closet filled with beach chairs, towels and boogie boards was perfect. The property managers were responsive to our questions. Mar 18, 2021 Perfect Getaway We loved our time at Konea 204. The condo was the perfect size for our group, which was 4 adults and two small children (5months, & 2 y/o). Kitchen comes well equipped for cooking for yourselves, or there is Duke's on the property and food trucks near by. The pools were great for the kids, and we were able to see tons of whales right from the beach. I definitely recommend this spot, and will be returning ASAP. Chase L.

Dec 27, 2019 Overall, a good place Facility is nice. Gift shop and Duke’ s restaurant are well overpriced, even for Hawaii. In the building itself, there is a trash problem. Guests just dump their trash in piles near the elevators and leave it. It’s horrible that people do this. But, worse that noone cleans it up and it just festers there, causing the hall way to stink of trash. We stayed for a week and the same trash was in the hallway for the entire stay. Guests need to dump their trash in the trash dumps instead of littering the halls. And, maintenance staff need to keep the place clean so the halls do t smell like trash. Gross. Kate T.

The condo had plenty of towels, a cooler and beach chairs for our use, plastic glasses for pool/beach etc. It was great! The only thing that wasn’t 100%, was that the can opener really sucked. Seriously, that’s it. Everything else was on point! The property managers were super nice, easy to get ahold of, and very accommodating! Check in and out was a breeze. Honua Kai resort is really nice. Has a good mix of pools and private spaces. Kanaapali north is not too busy, overall a good location. The beach gets deeper and calmer as you head a bit south down the beach. We walked several miles every morning and would always choose to swim just south of Honua Kai. It was the nicest part of the whole Kanaapali beach, calm and serene. Marty M.

We cooked several meals in the kitchen and started everyday with breakfast on the Lanai. The beach towels and chairs also made days on the beach extra comfortable. The location was also convenient. Reviewer Comments: This was our second vacation stay at the Honua Kai and we would consider this unit to have been the best of the 2 by far. The price was considerably better than the previous rental which to us, was important because that allowed us to enjoy more activities and meals at Duke's! Check in was seamless and we enjoyed having the valet parking for those days when you are really exhausted from hanging out in the sun. This rental had all the important extras such as the Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, cooler, etc. I was worried about not having the ocean/pool view but I actually enjoyed this view just as much as the greenery was beautiful and it was incredibly peaceful. The only thing missing were the chair cushions for the balcony. It would be nice if they were replaced as it would make the deck chairs more comfortable. There was construction going on for the 3rd phase of Honua Kai but it didn't affect our stay in any way, whatsoever. The pool and facilities are fantastic and it’s very close to Lahaina and Whaler’s Village for great restaurants and shops. The suite was very nice and looked exactly like the pictures. Unfortunately the feather couch shed little feathers everywhere! The place was clean when we arrived but it would have been great if there was cleaning supplies available (and a working vacuum) for us to use for a quick clean here and there throughout our 10 day stay. Other suggestions would be to have some cutlery and dishes available for kids. Otherwise we really enjoyed our holiday at Honua Kai and will definitely stay here again! Karen A.

Everything you need for cooking, dining and going to the beach is there. The whole condo looks new w/ great kitchen, nice view of the property. Bathroom was very spacious and bed was comfortable, there are extra pillows, blankets etc. Unit also has a w/d. The complex itself has a fancy coffee shop, small grocery store (large grocery store is 3 min drive away), Duke's restaurant w/ delicious food and located on the beach. The hosts were welcoming (via text) and seemed to be helpful & available if we needed anything, but honestly, we didn't need anything from them during our stay. We ate all our dinners at home and loved the aspect of opening up the entire wall to eat outside. The location of the resort was convenient to downtown Lahaina and its go-see landmarks. The grounds were spectacular and visually a postcard moment. We felt right at home and when Hurricane Olivia came through on our last day in Maui, it was very convenient to have the market/coffee shop open in the lobby!! Love the accessibility in general! We have stayed in numerous hotel and condo rentals during our many years of visiting Maui, but have returned to Honua Kai every trip for the last five years. The property location is absolutely ideal, offering close proximity to the bustling Lahaina area and the main Ka'anapali Beach resort and shopping area, but still feeling a little more secluded and 'away from it all'. Unit 214 itself was clean and very well appointed with beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, and all sorts of fun beach gear. There was a wonderful, full spice rack, coffee maker and some extra condiments in the fridge. We were a little concerned at just how close we would be to the Westin Nanea building, but the pictures actually make it appear closer than it was. Even better, the unit does not directly face any of the Nanea rooms, so you do not feel like you are staring at your neighbors while sitting on the lanai (which I did every morning while my husband checked his work e-mails). Megan was wonderful to work with and was even able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which was greatly appreciated since we were lucky enough to catch a non-stop flight and arrive on the island about 11am. The on-site restaurant, Duke's, is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just be sure to make reservations for dinner as they book up really quickly and no one wants to wait an hour for dinner. ;0) We had a wonderful trip and are already planning our next visit. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is perfect for a family with a toddler. The unit was stocked with a highchair and playpen as well as great beach towels and toys. This was our 3rd time staying at the Honua Kai and this unit was great! Very clean and well maintained unlike one of the other units we stayed in. We had no issues during our trip... aside from the lack of sun! Thanks for a great stay! Julie B.

Reviewer Comments: Condo was nicely sized, but, not really a partial ocean view, more a mountain view. Patio was nice, kitchen had the basic necessities, bed was comfortable. There were a few items that needed attention in the condo, but nothing that needed to be fixed immediately, but should be addressed. The property itself was beautiful! nice to be located right on the boardwalk, the pools were nice, the grounds peaceful and pretty. The rental agent said they would check in with us after a couple of days to see how things were going, but we didn't hear from them. Overall, the stay at the property was nice. We would recommend this property to anyone. It was nice to have basic necessities, i.e. laundry soup; DW detergent; toilet paper in the condo when we arrived so we didn't have to make a trip to the grocery right away, however, the grocery was so close it was convenient to pick up items we needed. Would say that Duke's restaurant was a little overpriced except at happy hour, but there are many other places on Maui to check out. A car would be recommended, so much to see and do while here.
